He holds a degree in Legal Sciences from the Graduate Institute of Monterrey. In the public administration he held various positions in positions related to livestock. He was a local deputy in the state Congress from 2015 to 2018 and from 2018 to 2021. He also served as state attorney general from 2011 through January 2015.
