The Phillies defeated the Giants at home with four home runs

Philadelphia – Bryce Harper and three of his Philadelphia teammates reached inside the park. Aaron Nola pitched seven powerful innings in the Phillies’ 10-4 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Monday in a game between teams seeking a National League wild card.

Kyle Schwarber, Alec Baum and Edmundo Sosa also returned to the Phillies, who took a two-and-a-half-game lead over the Giants.

Lamont Wade Jr. and Joc Pederson returned to the Giants, who lost four of five and 11 of 15.

San Francisco started the game one game ahead of four other teams vying for a wild card. Arizona, Cincinnati and Miami started the day with 64-61 records.

Nola (11-8) finished allowing two runs with seven hits, striking out five and walking one.

Harper stunned the crowd of 36,274 with his 10th home run of the season and 295th of his career in the fifth inning.

For the Giants, Venezuelans win Wilmer Flores 4-2 in a walk, and Luis Matos 0-0 in a walk. Panamanian Johan Camargo 3-0 at once.

For the Phillies, Panamanian Edmundo Sosa took a 4-2 lead with one run scored and two RBIs. Venezuela’s Miguel Rojas made it 4–2 with two runs scored and two RBIs.
