La Piedad, Michoacan. July 5, 2021. –Students of the National College of Technical and Vocational Education (CONALEP) and the Basque School of Quiroga, have been honored by the Mayor of La Piedad, Alejandro Espinosa Avila, for their results in the Expo-Ciencias competition in its nearly municipal phase implemented this year.
The recognition given by the President and Director of the Education Directorate Horacio Martin Sánchez Molina, in the yard of the School of Arts, was for the young students of the preparatory level of the municipality who took the top three places.
For this version, implemented almost due to emergency, 11 projects were developed that were submitted to the qualified jury on topics such as; Social and human sciences, robotics, mechatronics, exact and natural sciences, and environmental sciences.
In his speech, Mayor Espinosa Avila reiterated his commitment to educating the children and youth of the municipality, whom he called to continue working on research issues and to be promoters of science in their environment and for whom he prophesied with distinction.
