They tried to burn 10 policemen alive in La Aurora, Usme-Bogotá

Moments of suffering Ten police officers who were in CAI Aurora, Usme town, lived after protesters set fire to infrastructure while they were locked up inside.

Even when the police officers managed to leave Cairo airport, they raised their hands and begged for their lives as they ran and ran away from the group of people who were attacking them.

Faced with this fact, Mayor Claudia Lopez spoke: “More than ten CAI Aurora police officers were attacked, imprisoned and attempted to burn them alive inside the CAI. The city had reached this level of violence at some points tonight.” The death toll for one night in the midst of protests, riots and vandalism reached 91 wounded, including 71 civilians and 19 police.

In total, 25 CAIs were sabotaged as stones were thrown at them and set on fire. Additionally, some buses have been burned. In total, during these days of protests, according to TransMilenio reports, 478 buses of the baggage system were severely affected and 317 were damaged in the district system.
