Pianist and original member of the Las Estrellas de Fania Orchestra, Larry Harlow died this morning after being hospitalized for 32 days with complications related to a kidney condition. He was 82 years old.
“All Salciros have reported to the world in deep pain that after 32 days in the hospital my beloved Larry passed away at 12:30 am due to complications as a renal patient which had weakened his already weary heart. Thank you for all the love and letters he received from all of you and that I was responsible for reading to him in the hospital,” The widow Maria del Carmen Harlow reported via social networks.
“I am asking you to give us space for family and close friends to process our loss and we will give you more information about it later,” he said.
