Five members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) were arrested in the vicinity of Monte Hatillo

The Bureau of Intelligence and Detention arrested five alleged members of the criminal organization known as the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cantera (Las FARC) this morning after recording a disturbing incident in the vicinity of the Monte Hatillo residential complex in Río Piedras, during a free arrest operation. “Many of those arrested have criminal records,” Fontanez said.

It was clarified that no such riot had occurred as initially reported, but as news of the arrests spread, people chose to seek safety or go to their apartments.
