DAVIS, CA – Davis Police are requesting community assistance in identifying a woman who has severe amnesia and cannot tell investigators about her or provide any identifying information.
It is now safe and under the care of medical professionals.
According to police, on May 30, 2021, a Davis resident reported that a woman entered his backyard at 3400 of Seabright Avenue in West Davis. The woman did not remember her identity and looked confused. She was taken to the hospital emergency room by ambulance where it was determined that she might be suffering from a severe case of amnesia.
The woman was admitted for medical treatment and based on the information provided, investigators believe that the woman may be a missing person. Authorities said the woman showed no physical injuries and appeared to be in good physical health, but could not be identified due to memory loss.
The woman thinks she may have come from the “East Coast” and initially gives a possible name to “Ruth Perlman”.
“At this point, neither the woman nor the investigators trust the information provided,” the police say.
Anyone with information about the identity of the woman, pictured, is encouraged to immediately call the Davis Police Department at 530-747-5400.
