The coordinator of the postgraduate course in life sciences, Dr. He stressed that, “As suggested, there are no other programs in the country comparable to UASLP’s Life Sciences, which are positioning it as a new graduate offering.”

He explained that the master’s and doctoral programs are interdisciplinary and are based on four directions: functional biology, bioengineering, integrative ecology and conservation, and neurosciences, with the idea that students in these areas gain basic research as a direction towards scientific innovation and technology and allow for solutions to be proposed at the regional, state and national levels. .

Rodriguez and Dominguez Kesler commented that as the academic core of the graduate program, they have decided to participate in the Conacyt Call in March 2021, which sets out a series of guidelines and requirements that must be met in due course. The result was the good news of joining the PNPC.

The College of Science has 11 postgraduate degrees, and it is with great pride that we belong to the Conacyt Quality Registry. A student who wishes to enroll in this program will have the opportunity to get a scholarship, which will make him commit to his studies. It also means that the study plan is constantly evaluated,” concluded the doctor.
