The two sides announced an agreement to allocate medical aid funds to Puerto Rico and other territories

He argued that the agreement guarantees medical care to 1.5 million health card recipients and prevents the program from being funded.

“Having this agreement before September is a great achievement for Puerto Rico. Bilateral missions are crucial to guarantee its final success. Efforts are underway to find a final solution to the situation with Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott in the Central Senate. Medical assistance in the territories,” he said.
