They left Nicaraguan territory on January 7, bound for Mexico on board flight AM 651, which took off on Sunday afternoon. After their release, they spent the last night at the home of their mother and wife, respectively, Karen Ciliberti, exiled by the dictatorship in Nicaragua.
In a program Sit who can From Univisión, on December 12, 2023, it was announced that they would be released on the condition that Celebrity transfer the rights to the Miss Nicaragua franchise to one of the daughters-in-law of the dictatorial couple.
In addition, the agreement includes the return of Shinice Palacios, winner of the Miss Universe 2023 title, to Nicaragua under strict supervision of the regime to visit her family. This was agreed upon after Miss Universe refused to allow Palacios to speak in favor of the dictatorship.
