Singer Chiquis Rivera announced that she had a spontaneous miscarriage while preparing for her concert in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and for this reason she was forced to cancel her concert.
“They had already started with hair and makeup and during the sound check I felt pain like cramps and I was seven weeks pregnant and I was worried because I was bleeding a little bit when I landed here in Albuquerque. But I spoke to my doctor and she told me not to worry, to take things easy, and not to worry,” the singer commented. “I would jump on stage, but the next day I was in so much pain.”
Chiquis, who has a love affair with photographer and video director Emilio Sanchez, had to be taken to hospital because she could not bear the pain, which ended in a spontaneous miscarriage.
She commented, “I couldn’t bear the pain, and I couldn’t even walk, so they took me to the emergency room and that’s when I realized that, unfortunately, I had suffered a miscarriage.”
Despite the difficult time she is going through, Chikes trusts in the plans God has for her.
“I am a woman of faith. I know that God’s plans are perfect, and only He knows why these things happen. I will trust that God’s plans are better than yours,” he said.
