The digital entertainment landscape could change dramatically if Netflix goes ahead with a headline-grabbing proposal: the possibility of offering its service for free and transforming into a platform similar to traditional television.

In order to generate further expansion plans, the managers of the big red company “N” are evaluating the possibility of users accessing Netflix for free, but with ads. This model, which resembles the traditional TV model, would represent a change in the strategy of the platform that has been characterized for years by its continuous content.
Netflix: Changing the Way You Watch Live Streaming
This is not the first time Netflix has launched a free plan with ads. According to an article published by the American media BGR, the first time this measure was implemented was in Kenya some time ago and the plan was available on mobile devices. But for unknown reasons, they decided to remove it months later.
