On July 23, the election of student representatives will take place before the different levels of the University of Cartagena, to know the names of those who will have the student spokesperson for the next two years.

In order for students to become familiar with applicants’ proposals, programmatic forums were set up before the development of the process for electing future representatives to the Supreme Council, Academic Council, Central Admissions Committee and University Sponsorship Council. College Board, Courses or Groups, Period 2021-2023.

It should be noted that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, programmatic forums will be held virtually, without an audience and face to face, making use of technological and communication tools to bring together a student audience, under biosafety protocols established by the Institute.

The specific dates are:

– Friday, July 16, for student representatives before the Supreme Council and student representatives before the Academic Council, 9 a.m. on the Zaragosilla Campus.

Wednesday, July 21, for student representatives before the Central Admissions Committee and student representatives before the University Care Council, at 2 p.m., at the Zaragosilla Campus.

On the other hand, the programmatic forums for aspiring college boards will be held on the following dates:

Wednesday, July 14, for the Faculties of Law and Political Science. social sciences and education; Humanities, 8:30 a.m., Colleges of Pharmaceutical Sciences; Exact and Natural Sciences will do so at 2:30 p.m. in the Zaragocilla Headquarters auditorium.

Thursday, July 15, for the Faculties of Economic Sciences. Engineering Department at 8:30 am in the Health Sciences Campus.

– Monday, July 19 for Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing at 9 am at the Zaragosila Campus.

In accordance with procedures established by national, departmental and provincial governments and biosafety protocols established by the institution due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only aspiring student representatives will attend the programmatic forums in person.

The forums will be broadcast in real time and the socialization time for proposals, which is the space in which each applicant will speak, will be 10 minutes.

This time will be controlled by a stopwatch on the display and/or a light signal that warns of the start of the intervention in green and will remember the end of the intervention with 3 minutes remaining in yellow. Finally in red, a signal to end the interference will be given.

During submission, the moderator will prioritize questions previously submitted by students, through a form that will be promoted and enabled eight days prior to the first programmatic forum. Then, the questions asked in the chat of the platform that are recording the live broadcast will be addressed.
