The Public Prosecutor’s Office turns the main suspect in the Chalchuapa murders into a witness with criminal merit

The nine people accused of nine murders of women and four murders were betrayed by former police officer Hugo Osorio, who as the main suspect became a qualified witness (with criminal merits).

“Mr. Osorio got a partial chance criterion, only nine cases, in which his participation was throwing bodies into the well,” said chief prosecutor Max Muñoz.

He added that Osorio is “the only witness to people who were the main perpetrators of murders and murders.”

Last Thursday, the Chalchuapa monster was transferred to the Zacatecoluca prison known as Zacatraz.

They also reported that they had information about 20 other murders that could be attributed to Osorio. Some of the victims will be missing persons.

On the other hand, the authorities of the Public Prosecution Office confirmed that 12 victims have been recovered so far.

Muñoz said that eight bodies were recovered from the well, in addition to two bodies that were on the surface. Added to these are the bodies of a mother and her daughter. The police might have found a secret grave in the former policeman’s home. He also confirmed that the victims who were removed from the well would be identified through a DNA test.

Imposed Prosecutor Rodolfo Delgado said there was horrific information provided by the press regarding the Chalchuapa case. He later said that he did not want to generalize.

“I did not generalize, it is simply for those who know they own. They are heading irresponsibly to the prosecutor’s office against the secrecy it owes to the various investigations, and he simply starts saying things that have not yet been proven.”

It revealed that a Public Prosecution employee had opened disciplinary measures for revealing unconfirmed information.
